Recommendations for roller reefing main

Obviously I am not a purist.
Am pragmatic. need to keep laser moored to dock waiting for next great wind.

Traditional rigging of main does not allow boat to "sit" in one place... even a little wind makes it tip over. Is there a rolling reef main or alternative rigging (like sunfish) that will allow boat to be "stable" in wind when moored -- I want the fund of a laser hull -- but have no interest in racing..

Thanks.

I've never had a problem with the boat tied to a dock in heavy wind. I don't think its good for the sails but the boat didn't tip over.

u can roll the sail around the mast... just take the battens out. It's not recommended... but for just recreational sailing it will do the trick.

if you take the sheet out (or unclip the blocks) and release the vang, your boat should stay quite well.
I usually dont have a lot of problems that way.

have fun!
