New centre plate

Apologies if there has been a thread already.

in my old centre plate there were two small holes at the top to feed through some rope and make a rope handle making it easy to grip when pulling it up for reaching/runnin etc. the new one doesnt have this, i havent tried it yet but i guess u all just pull from the indent? is this harder to get a good grip?

does anyone have any suggestions to make it easier to get a good tug on the new plate?

cheers

I havent made a handle for my board and I dont even notice when pulling it up or down. I would say it is personal preference...

thanks fracisco and james. i think i will have a blast tomorrow or friday and see how it is.
as the elastic leaves no room in the centre plate hole, how is the kicker tail supposed to attach to the plate?

I have a small rope loop through the small hole at leading edge of the baord to which I clip the shock cord that goes to the front fairlead. I then simply deadend the cang line to this each time I go out. Much easier than messing around having to thread things through each time.

As for a handle I have never had one, my board slides easily by sliding my fingers under the black stop and sliding it up.
