Hi I'm looking for a new Laser but one without wood inside. At what number is the mast step? mastpot in NL reinforced with aluminium instead of wood? Thanks a lot for your answer Jan.

Wood is still used inside, as part of the class rules. There is however, in UK and NA lasers (most likely Ausie as well), a metal wear plate installled at the bottom of the mast tube to prevent abraision when the mast rotates.
