Spray Pants Recommendations

On my first sail in my recently purchased Laser I went to Bodega Bay in Northern California. The water is quite cold year round there so I brought a pair of some cheap, rubber, waterproof bib overalls rain pants and wore those. They were kind of like these.

But the rubber material caused the overalls to grip the non skid deck with the result being that the overalls got pulled down and down until I could feel some spray on my exposed lower back. Not to mention the legs all piled up around my ankles.

So, I'm looking for a recommendation for some sort of water proof overalls that have a outer surface that's more slippery and won't stick to the deck like those rubber coated rain paints. Something like this maybe.

The only problem with the Herni Lloyds above is I don't know if the outer material is slippery enough and I don't want to spend the money and order them only to find they are too grippy. What would be ideal is bibs/overalls that are lightweight but water proof and won't grip the deck and get pulled down as I hike out, come inboard, hike out, etc.

I'm not interested in the Airprene type hiking pants. I've got tons of neoprene that I use for windsurfing for when I go out in the Laser, it's howling and I know I'm going to get soaked.

Thanks,

- Andy
