Where to rent a laser in the SF bay area?

I learned sailing in UCLA. Now I'm moving from LA to SF bay area, and looking forward to sailing in the bay (people say that's the best place to sail?).
I'm still new to Laser sailing, have only practiced less than 40 hrs. Do you have any recommendation on a good place to start with? Thank you:)

Check out Cal Sailing in Berkeley, I think they have some Lasers and might do rentals as well as classes. If you want to get into beer can racing check out the Treasure Island Laser Fleet - they race every Thursday night . Sailing on the Bay is more challenging than Marina Del Rey which is why it is the best place to sail Lasers so you probably will want to get some practice in to get used to conditions here.

Check out the District 24 web site for info on other fleets and the race schedule in the Bay.

Thank you for the detailed instruction, Sorosz. Cal Sailing seems to be a nice place to start with. Its location is also quite convenient (next to UCBerkeley's aquatic center. Maybe I can take advantage of UCBerkeley's Coronado 15s first before sailing alone in a laser.) In any case, I'll talk to guys there and find out the difference of sailing in the Bay vs in the port of Marina Del Rey. Thanks again, and Ciao :D
