Storage question

I am considering storing my 1989 Capri 14.2 on the shore of the lake where I will be sailing. Should the hull be on a dolly? Old carpet? Several bumpers or fenders? I am concerned about the hull becoming deformed, or scratched. Any suggestions would be welcome. I am also thinking of making a very basic dolly just to get in and out.
Thanks for your comments

bdh: Yes, I would want to support the hull if it were mine. Might want to check out other folks' trailers to see where support is. Besides a dolly, I twice have seen catamarans rolled across sand on inflatable rubber tubes which I suppose could also act as support when stored. RK

Bdh333, I am thinking of doing the same! I have the original galv. trailer which is fairly heavy, so the dolly idea makes more sense. Very simple construction out of aluminum tubing with 2 wheelbarrow wheels. I haven't done any drawings but there should be plenty of examples in the internet.
