Capri 14.2 rub rail

Just bought a 92 Capri 14.2 that is in good condition. The only eyesore is its rub rail which is mulitble shades of yellowish brown. Does anyone know what's involved in replacing the rub rail or a good way to restore it. Thanks.

Rub rail

If you have a Mod 1 or 2, with the old flat style of rubrail, replacing it is practically impossible as it it's held on with "atomic" glue. But if you have a late Mod 2 or Mod 3, with the round, rubbery rubrail I think it's possible to replace it. If so, call Catalina at 818-884-7700 and ask for Robert in Parts. He can tell you more.
