Lift points

I just purchased a 1988 Mod 1 in excellent shape and am anxious to sail it. At my sailing club we lift our boats into the water rather than use a ramp. Does anyone know where the appropriate lift points are? I am thinking of using the drain holes in the stern but do not know if that is appropriate and do not know the forward points to use. Any help?

There sould be a hole on the plate of the aft hiking strap and then put a shackle or rope on the base of the shroud plate.

Another thing you could try is replacing the brass rear eye bolt for the centerboard bungee cord, with a matching stainless bolt.

I've used that setup without problems for the past few years.
