Newbie From Georgia, Usa

Hey y'all. I am a proud new owner of a Laser XD. I picked her up yesterday and it has not stopped raining since. I have previously owned a Hobie 18, Hobie 14 Turbo and a Catalina 30. I have been out of sailing since 1990. I have had an ache in my soul to get back into sailing and since I am about to turn 65 I decided the Laser would be a fun way to grow old. I don't know anything about the Laser except what I read and watching videos. I have never rigged one or sailed one. I do know how to sail. I raced the Hobie 18 for two years all over the state of Florida. To show you how old I am, the sail number was 695. I look forward to learning the Laser from every line and block to every point of wind. I am also anxious to learn from y'all.
I think I better go do some sit-ups.
