Attaching mast float
Art...thanks for the close up picture. Would be great if you could email the ppt file, as well.

Thanks again.
I wandered around Home Depot last Friday night for 3 hours trying to come up with a creative way to attach a Baby Bob mast float to my mast. I'm stumped. I referred to Art's picture in another posting --- it looks great --- but I'm still not getting it. Any specific info on how to do this...
Verify shock cord length
Ed,
Probably a dumb question, but...
Is 4' the length of the cord prior to crimping the end fittings on with hog rings...or is it the finished length of the cord?
Thanks.
Need to drill some holes in the top of my mast to attach a Hobie mast float. Haven't worked with metal before...do I need a special drill bit to do this...or are my standard set of "Craftsman" bits up to the task?
Thanks.
Thanks for the helpful info. I'll keep my eyes open for a used Seitech (hoping to save some $$$ for new sails!).....if worse comes to worse, I'll spring for a new one.
I'm trying to track down a dolly for my 14.2.....used or reasonably priced new one. So far it looks like the Seitech model 420 is best suited for the 14.2...although at approx $400 new....it's a bit more than I want to spend. Are there other dolly manufacturer's out there? Would appreciate...
