Just wanted to remind West Region Sunfish owners of the Championship Regatta being held this weekend (Sat. & Sun.) at Scotts Flat Lake, Nevada City, CA 95959 To race, you must hold a Sunfish membership, which can be arranged on site prior to the start of the first race. Camping at the lake...
Look under the title Search above. Enter Leaks. I find my leaks by using the air method. Use a hairdryer on cool instead of a vacum. The vacum puts out a very large volume of air and will literally pop the seams. A scary sound. I like to go to the dollar store and buy the plastic...
I forgot to tell you to go to our website at www.gcyc.net and at the top click on Junior Sailing. In the picture titled "Valentine" you can see my boat #7 being used during a Jr. Sailing program with the blob Sunfish and it's runny stains. I tried the different soaps and it wouldn't stop the...

Don't always count on seeing the serial number on the stern. Sometimes the boat gets painted over and maybe more than once and then the numbers disappear.
Don't! remove the foam. It's there for structural support and keeps the boat stiff insteady of wiggly. A 4" port either side as far back on the bow would be your best bet. I added a drain hole and plug to starboard on the stern so the boat can be stored upright and drain. It also works well...
