I don't know if people have every heard of the buzzards bay regatta, but i sailed in it this year, over the past weekend. It was very well done, 7 races in total. Good wind the last 2 days, with REALLY nice wind last day. Here is somthing VERY scary. The person who won the standard division...

umm, they were probally taken off. I don't know why vanguard still puts those on. their REALLY annoying. I wouldn't put them back on, i would leave them off

nope. Their really stupid. They gave all laser standards and radials new numbers, three digits. They have to go on the top of the sail. Pisses me off. Like it will really help them... There are only at MOST 30 boats in a fleet. Most likely they'll finish in a pack of 2, mabye 3 boats. Stupid. :(

well, on APS they have the quick realease thing, which works wonders with a Spectra cord tie down, enough for 3 raps around the boom. Spray a little Team McLube, and Viola! a very sweet clew!
