I do not like sail with spar sleaves . Had a fish that was rotted out found a finn and sailing continues of all my boats a fish/finn only way to go. I've never tried to class race but have had several fun one on ones and that is fun enough for me.

I have a newport 15 also it takes only about 10 min to step mast and hoist sails not bad at all but should u get wet it will take a while to get it back up and dried out enough to get back in ! Oh yea it loves to turttle and then it takes two adults and some @&$" words to get it back...

Water was cool 63deg air 80 wind 13 to 20 out of the south ,brand new crisp sail and little boat traffic it was great .Hope everyone gets their day like this soon !

air temp plays a big part but what water temp becomes dangerous? Say you cant get back in boat and have to swim.

It will more than work it will be great. I looked at Harbor Freight TSC and several other brands and decided on jet ski trailer. Went and found single ski trailer 600 dollars with 13 in wheels. Right before they swiped card changed my mind and said wanted 2 place trailer as i wanted jet ski...
