I have been sailing my sunfish at a lake in central MA (near Leominster). Does anyone know a good place to get wind reports? I would like to know what the wind was like and if its worth heading out to the lake before i load the boat up.

I had done some repair on mine in the beginning of the summer. I didn't have an actual crack in the mast tube, but the fiberglass was chipped out of there. I posted some details of the repair in this thread...

yeah, lots of elbow grease. I've found that it helps to wipe the brasso on kinda thick and let it sit for a little while before buffing it off. Good Luck!

On the sunfish direct page they suggest using an old hacksaw blade. I really dont have a good idea yet, but i will prob try that and maybe something like a yardstick.
