Though could they alter the design a little bit and still have it as a one-design? Also, if these boats are stiffer and lighter how?
ah well um then if there is a difference between european boats and canadian boats they were most likely designed in Europe. If these lighter stiffer boats were designed in Canada dont you think would already be in America?
What a twist. But Ross they would still be European design just U.S.A. manufactured. Kind of like cars toyota and honda were designed in Japan but there are plants in America producing them. Thats all i have to say.
Who thinks we should have someting like a daysailor but could easily be sailed by two kids. My thoughts were to have a compartment in the front and a table in the cockpit with a cooler inside it. Its weird and a fantasy boat but it sounds cool. Im only a kid. Its kind of like a "kid cruiser".
ok to answer correctly: im too tall for an opti! and no all the chicks my age dont sail optis they sail Laser Radials and 420's just like me. I think a 4.7 sounds right but no one in my club uses them.
ok that seems like it has nothing to do with my question. Oh and with that design part i have a friend who is designing a step-up boat from an opti to a laser. It's supposed to be a lot like either a Duster or a Moth I cant remember. I'm not sure but i might help him design and build it. But...
im not exactly sure but i think its from the daggerboard. i sail old club boats and that happens all the time. the whole boat shakes and i think im hitting something till i realize im almost in the channel so yeah. its the daggerboard.
I weigh 109lbs. and sail Laser Radials should i or should i still be in an Opti. My friends mom said that i shouldn't be in a laser. Ive handled one in hevy winds only flipped 3 times. one time my foot slipped off the hiking strap and i fell in the water. But, i also singledhanded a 420 in...
It was mostly the water in the boat. There is a lot of extra weight from it and the constant motion of it slows you more. Trust me i dont have my own boat yet and i use the clubs boats. These boats are about 14 years old so they have quite a bit of waterin them most leak. There you go, hope...
