The spars for the Laser are very expensive if they are"original", necessary for racing. However there is at least one company which is selling the same but without the Laser logo. It's about half price. The shipping for the mast top section is expensive because it's longer than the max. even for UPS. It can be shipped business-to-business, which can be their warehouse to your local Mail boxes etc/UPS store.
