Class Politics Snubbed - it's an outrage!

The centre board snubber.

Who designed these? The v cut in them nowhere near matches the trailing edge of the board, they split within days and they're too short to adjust forward properly.

In a world full of chinese plastic you'd think they'd come up with a cheap effective part. Forget sails, forget blocks, someone needs to address the snubber issue.

Never had a problem with mine.

Do you reckon you can get them to make it thickest right up to the trailing edge. That one looks like it's rebated just where the wear and tear is going to be the most. If not, the body needs to be longer.

Mind you, it looks like that carbon inpregnated plastic stuff. Is it harder?

Don't tell me there are already 50,000,000 of these stored your garage.

riiiiiight...

I've had my 02 boat probably since 03 or 04, and haven't replaced it yet

If you aren't chomping through a snubber every month, you ain't sailing

hard enough

If you're going through that many snubbers, (12 a year) then you should have also worn a hole through the front of your dagger board trunk. Which, IMHO would be a much bigger issue.

If you have the "tape" in yout trunk that might be part of your problem. I understand the tape makes the slot very slick and the board does not like to hold a position.

Nope no tape or wear. Just bung snubbers.

Should be some good political mileage in this. Blow the whole scam wide open.
