Is it safe to assume that the transom on a Capri 14.2 is solid enough to directly attach items such as an outboard motor mount or swim ladder without additional strengthening to the back side?

I don't think it would be a problem at all. If you look at my thread about my home made ladder, you can see the picture on all 210 pounds of me hanging off the ladder while the boat is on the trailer. I don't think you are going to get much more force than that on the stern, not matter what you hang off of the back. I carry that ladder and a 20 pound antique boat motor off the back of mine and it has never been a problem. Is it safe to assume that the transom on a Capri 14.2 is solid enough to directly attach items such as an outboard motor mount or swim ladder without additional strengthening to the back side?
